We announce the results for the second quarter of our 20th fiscal year ending September 2026.
Consolidated results for the second quarter of FY26.9 were as follows: consolidated transaction volume of 61.8 billion yen (109.0% y/y), revenue of 17.73 billion yen (135.3% y/y),operating profit before impairment losses of 2.77 billion yen (155.3% y/y), and operating profit after impairment losses of 2.50 billion yen (163.2% y/y) .
While growth in AirTrip travel business continued to slow, other business segments—following the travel business—performed well, resulting in a significant year-over-year increase in profits.
The achievement of 800 companies in the AirTrip CXO Salon (paid membership) and the upcoming "AirTrip Fes 2026" in August will further strengthen our management community and underpin future profits.
Through the completion of five M&A and capital/business alliance deals so far this fiscal year—which have enabled us to launch our “Beauty Franchise Business” and “Portal Site Business”—we are steadily executing growth investments and expanding our business portfolio to achieve our medium- to long-term growth strategy, “AirTrip 5000.”
With regard to shareholder returns, as a first step, we have resolved to repurchase up to 2,500,000 shares of treasury stock, representing 11.0% of the total number of shares outstanding. Taking into comprehensive consideration our current financial position, future business development, and market conditions, we will implement a flexible capital policy that responds to changes in the business environment, including returning value to shareholders through share repurchases and utilizing the shares as part of the consideration for future M&A transactions.
